No doubt there’s something so special about them. We rescued our 1st one as a 3 week old stray that we felt wouldnt survive. Before that we never had Siamese and this cat changed our lives. After she passed we found a Siamese rescue in our area and the rest is history. Here’s our OG Maxine along with our late rottie Luther who was the most gentile 159# dog you could ever meet

Rottie's hold a special place in my heart as well. Gentle protectors. I gotta dig up some old pictures for you of the one I grew up around. We have siamese cat art throughout our house too, whenever we are out and see anything siamese, it's a sure bet we are buying it. We did break tradition 3 years ago and got a black maine coon, who is the leader of the pack, but I've been joking that if a long hair Siamese pops up at a rescue, I won't be able to help myself

 

Moms in the hospital after a fall so I wanted to send her something that would make her feel better and loved. She loves her grand kitties.

When you mentioned about that bad breath and BAM it reminded me of a story a friend told me about a Manx cat that he had.
Said he was watching the television when the cat jumped up on him so he pet it and it sharted in his face...I know sorry

A moment ago; one little kitten caught a mouse and the other one didn't. That little kitten was having a riot. Poor mouse...NO

 

That's no fair, I wanted a mouse too daddy!

 

I met another cat who takes care of their place last weekend while visiting my eldest in Port Angeles, WA. Douglas adopted the Wyndham Hotels Super 8 at Olympic National Park in May 2016, when he apparently felt the night auditor needed an escort on her evening rounds. His owner agreed that Douglas had found his noble purpose, so he greets guests and has food, water and his cot outside the front door. Guest's treats are welcome. I complimented and thanked the staff members often, as this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed at. Everything (and everyone) works well!

 

The bird count is up to 9 now with Cheddar. He crashes around the house just after dawn, emitting a pitiful cry, and that's my wake up call. Once he brought in a nest complete with tiny eggs, only to dismantle it all around the house. This morning, perhaps a better ending... A humming bird, maybe the one who has taken to sitting on top of a decorative item under the eaves, I don't know. This little guy was out of breath, resting on the hallway floor when I went in, Cheddar impatiently waiting for his playmate to resume playing. I turned on the hallway light, and he flew to the light to perch. I was then able to turn on and off succeeding lights to lure him outdoors, much to the disapproval of Cheddar, who wouldn't stop crying till I fed him his breakfast.

As an advocate of the natural order of things, I celebrate Cheddar's success as a hunter, and the taking down of the weak does help in affirming the strength of the bird species, but I also have to deal with the opposing views of my wife, so I am the bad guy here. Better me than to lock the cat indoors.

 

I'm really falling for this one. I'm not sure if it's a boy or girl. It is the smallest of even the smaller kittens and pretty shy. It will eventually come to me and get some petting but just seems timid.
Wife said she seen a coyote the other morning at the edge of the yard next to cornfield.
Oh, daughter just stepped out to the garage and she said this one is a girl.

 

How can you resist that cute little face? Looks like she’s saying please keep me daddy.

There's another small one that hold nothing back...no shame...just all over in my lap..in through my arms and around my back
