"Seven" ... our special needs baby. She won't eat ANY dry food. Anyone know why?

 

Could be dental related. How are her teeth and gums?

We feed canned food because it contains a very high percentage of water where dry is typically less than 10%. One of our kitties is not a big water consumer and that's bad for kitty kidneys.

I have a cat that won't eat any kind of canned food, she only eats dry food.

 

Ours is the same, not even tuna

 

As a kid we had outdoor cats, they would fight over fresh caught fish, i used to shoot a ground squirrel and bring it home, and have to chop it into pieces with a hatchet or axe and cats would tear it up. Hissing and growling.

Our house cat of today wouldnt eat treats or tuna either

 

What about just the name "Bob"?

 

That is how my "precious" is as well. She only likes dry food..

She does drink water pretty good though. So I'm happy because it offsets the dry.

I still try to give her wet food every now and then though.

 

My "precious little shit stain" inside of some kind of foot rest type thing or corner type table thing... I don't know what the hell it's called and it's at my sister's place, but anyways, she likes going inside and sleeping in it. My sister took this picture and sent it to me.


My sister temp has her right now. I'm glad too because she gets along really well with my sister's dogs.They hang out with each other a good majority of the time. I spoil the HELL outta the white dog, her name is "Lilly". The white dog is KRAAAZZZY about me too!!!




Btw, my cat and I have a very playful relationship too. We have this thing where we chase each other back and forth. I'll find a hiding spot, then as she walks slowly by looking for me, I JUMP OUT and try to grab her!!! She goes darting off and then we do it all over again, but I try to find a different hiding spot.

 

Ours is special too. She won’t eat wet food, any kind of meat or any dairy. Completely unusual for any cat I’ve ever seen to refuse any of these. Mainly survives on dry food, freshly killed rats and recently lizards. Any cat therapists out there???

 

Ours also doesn't like cardboard boxes and is terrified of bags, plastic or paper, plus any kind of crinkle paper/gift wrap.
