Actually I would say they do, something about survival of the fittest

On a side note I have finally figured out that hobbits do exist and come in the form of a cat...kona wants breakfast, then around 9am she get this desire for second breakfast

Our crazy indoor cat. He's a Bambino, which is a cross between a Sphynx and a Munchkin, which means he's like 6 inches tall and (mostly) hairless.

I'm not sure I mentioned it here but my wife and I are going away next month (May 11-18) and are looking to board Abigail.

Anyways I took off this past Friday (my wife is off on Fridays) to look at boarding places. I did a bit of research (called about 5 places) before we went to visit them.

This place has "cat condo's" where she would stay. My wife is happy that she won't be in a little crate/kennel. This is her baby. She's had her for 9 years (Abigail was around 6 when she got her).

This is a picture of them (litter box in the bottom - where the wooden door is all the way down).

Those look legit, as long as they let the cat out for a bit every day, id say thats a solid cubby. Ive seen smaller ones that I would t want to leave the gato at for extended periods of time.

Yeah the vet tech we spoke with said they "love" on the cats every day. She said of course if the cat is aggressive and/or doesn't want to come out they won't let them out.

Brought the plants in due to winter not wanting to quit.
Oliver managed to get into the shop to personally inspect them. He was less than happy to be interrupted...

Considering he’s an indoor cat I don’t think that’s likely but he’s known to be an asshole so I wouldn’t put it past him.

Has anyone dealt with cat alopecia?
One of my older cats (13 years old) started losing his hair in patches. Poor guy seems "different". I looked up cat hair loss and although nothing points to any specific cause, I get a lot of variations of "stress, over grooming, skin disorder"- all leading to alopecia. His coat is thinning out but what skin I can see is not irritated or otherwise showing any signs of distress. There haven't been any changes in diet (all raw food and supplements) and nothing that I can think of that would cause stress. The little dude lives a pretty pampered life.
Only thing I can think of is a 3 day camping trip that me and my GF went on a couple weeks ago and that's the only time that he's been away from both of us at the same time. Had a friend house-sit and he didn't report anything strange. I know his hair takes a while to come back to a full coat and am monitoring the patches to look for signs of worsening or improvement.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
