    Samuels was a typical jock who always skipped leg day. His torso was thick but his tiny little back legs were way out of proportion. As a result, he'd peel out on our tile floors when he tried to start running and he'd fishtail around corners when he would play with his sister Lana.

    He was also a tough guy who growled when the doorbell would ring, then promptly went and hid under his favorite blankie.

    Mostly he was my wife's cat, but when she wasn't around he'd come to me and just be my bud. That made Lana so very jealous that she just had to have more attention than him. I was ok with two cats competing for my affection.
