I sat down in my recliner and drifted off for a couple minutes and awoke to a paw whapping my chin, a loud purr and this face staring at me - food time dad, get your ass up and feed me, I want my num num and I want it now.

 

I get that in the morning only Wittle likes to give me kisses on the lips . Then if I ignore him he starts pulling the cover off me.

Another one who can’t like this post except for the end statement. I’m so terribly sorry for you and I sure hope you have a strong circle of loved ones around you. I can’t imaging how hard it must be for you and my only advice is to keep busy. I know for me if my mind is spinning in circles then I just start working on anything I can. My deepest condolences to you and your family!!!

True story, Monday after my brother's service he visited. When he was alive he lived next door, he wouldn't come up my stoop but he would yell for me by the stairs (I hated that). He also rose very early in the morning around 3:00AM because he couldn't sleep (he would nap later in the day) and he used to be a 'garbageman' for NYC. I noticed on my CCTV that one of my trash pails by my garage was knocked down off the other pails so I reviewed the video to see if anyone tried to take any recyclables from the other pails. It happened at 2:50 AM, the pail just fell over. There was no wind as my flag was not moving at all and there was no one in the picture or vibration either. That pail has withstood rain and wind storms and never fell down before. Ergo, my brother came by early in the AM and knocked the pail over to let me know he was OK.

 

Growing like a weed! (5lbs)



7 weeks ago (2lbs).

 

Man that just gave me the chills and even a tear to my eye. No doubt in my mind that was him and it was no coincidence. I’m not a ghosts are all around us type but I do believe there are signs around us. It’s just a matter if we choose recognize them or not. I bet that brought a well needed smile to your face… I hope.

 

Her interest in the dishwasher makes me laugh and think of the Flintstones dinosaur garbage eater.

 

This is how I keep the trash pails, so you can see it would take some effort to knock it over. The gray one on top of the blue pail is the one that fell over.
