Let's See Your Cats!!!

Gracie hasn't gotten much better since the last update. Three weeks of steroids seems to have returned some of her hearing but she still can't hear quiet or high frequency sounds, and we end up startling her all the time because she doesn't hear us coming. She also seems confused, and when she does hear us calling her she often just looks around without seeing us. The yelling at night is much less now, but she didn't do it at all before the Solensia. We're not sure what the next steps will be, and need to talk to the vet to make a plan. I think we may take the drug manufacturer up on their offer to fund some more in-depth testing. This is so heartbreaking considering all of the other problems that little Gracie has had to deal with. An additional deficit is hard to absorb.

Our boys can clearly tell that something (else) is wrong with Gracie, and they have been staying closer than normal. Arthur in particular has been showing her some extra affection. He's what I would call on the large side of normal at 11ish pounds, but he looks like a giant next to her.

Them cats like to go underground... Or in this case undercovers. LOL

 

My mom would come over sometimes. She said my cat would stay under the bed until I got home.

She would jump on the counter, "feed me daddy" of which I did.

My girlfriend would call & she would run under the bed again

As I've said, cherish the ones you love.
