    Anyone, I need some thoughts/advice...

First, age/med history of each cat:
    name: Blizzard

    age: ~2yrs old

med history: all typical shots as what is typically done... no rabies shots as they are literally strictly indoor mainly due to the fact of the abundance of coyotes in/around my area... I just saw one about 3wks ago or so literally walking out from my apt complex as soon as I parked from coming home from work. I do plan on getting Blizzard the rabies shots though anyways to cover for just those rare possibilities.

fixed: NO, but within a month or two I will be getting him fixed

    name: Beethoven

    age: ~2.5yrs old

med history: all typical shots as what is typically done... no rabies shots, but just like Blizzard, I am going to get Beethoven his rabies shots as well.

    fixed: YES

Now for the question/advice/thoughts to anyone:
It started about a week ago, I would come home from work and I would notice it almost looked like a tornado ripped through the apt? I would just chalk it up to them playing and just overly crazy?

Then one night, I noticed a very odd behavior in mainly how the younger one was acting towards the older one? He would "stalk him" and then all of a sudden rush, attack, scuffling around in choke holds, bunny kicking, and ultimately seeing hair being ripped out of mainly the older cat? The younger cat was clearly winning the fight and clearly the super aggressive one.

NOTHING has changed as far as place/location? Nothing "new" meaning no new pets or the environment in general? Feeding and drinking has never changed regarding feeding times location of litter boxes? Either cat shows absolutely no signs of any "injuries" or illness? Although cats are notorious from hiding any sort of pain or injuries of any kind!!!

Anyways, everything was normal is my whole point and then apparently this aggression just came out of the blue???!!!??? No fricken CLUE on why just two obviously very loving cats towards one another all of a sudden just pure hatred and very extremely violent aggression, again, mainly the little one was obviously the aggressor for some reason???

I was also noticing that the older cat would walk/run away, turn around, and hiss towards the younger one obviously trying to run away from a fight? It's like he knew that the younger one was going to attack for whatever his issue was towards him?

I read on Google that this could be caused by injuries, environment changes, fighting for food/water, etc etc etc which is why I had stated above that ALL of what Google said I have ruled those possibilities out. The only exception being, again, cats are notorious for hiding pain/illness.

SO, as short as I could make the post and description of my statements and situation, what are your guys thoughts on possibilities? I had to separate the two by putting one in the bathroom and closing the door so they don't literally cause each other major bodily harm or even worse, kill each other as that is how aggressive the fighting was. It was SUPER BAD people!!!

I had to separate them for two nights almost going on a third and my final thought was, "you know what, you wanna go at it then go at it??? I just can't do this anymore???"

I lost SOOO MUCH SLEEP during the past few days and literally nodding off at work. I get very little sleep as it is already and now I was only getting on average 1 or 2 hours over the course of a week. So I was very tired and upset because it was starting to affect my work. I did plan on taking the little one in to the vet for maybe some hidden illness or hidden injury the next day.

    BUT...

So this past Saturday, I come home from work after saying what I said about them wanting to just kill each other and just go ahead and go at each other's throats and let the best man win??? Well, as soon as I came back from work, they were somewhat okay with each other and now NO AGGRESSIVE behavior from the little one? WT actual F is going ON HERE???

This all just pretty much stopped as of just this past Saturday afternoon. SOME aggressive behavior was still there, but now SO SUPER TAME???

My theory, they were play fighting and it got out of hand to the point that one hurt the other??? Would I be somewhat close to what happened and the reasoning for such aggressive behavior? Now, these two knuckle-heads of mine are like two peas in a pod just in absolute LOVE with each other??? I am very confused people, WTF did I just go through???

This picture shows how they normally are... they just normally LOVE each other, but again, just recently, they were literally ripping hair out of one another and very surprised no blood was drawn? It was extremely aggressive for the couple days that it lasted???

So, thoughts on what possibly caused the aggressive behavior?

Btw, I know about Feliway. The plug in one apparently catches on fire after reading the reviews about the product??? Any other options?

And Tacomas are horrible and break down all the time.

Just feliway (or the clone knockoff, it's the same dispenser) and remember it's something that warms up the dispenser, so don't leave it plugged in when it runs dry.
