We have a set of 2-story windows in our house with a crown molding ledge at about 18 feet. Some of the cats will jump from the stairs to a plant shelf, walk across the ledge above the fireplace mantle (about 13 feet high) to the other plant shelf, then jump up to the window ledge. Here's some pictures of Pumpkin (RIP) giving me a heart attack on her way down a few years ago. My wife put the old suitcases there to block them, but as you can see it didn't do shit. Pumpkin was only about 4 pounds and very small, so she had lots of room. Blackie (RIP) and his girlfriend Whitie (RIP) were also small-to-medium, and would sit up there together facing each other and watch the day go by. Henry is 11 pounds and much bigger, and he's gotten up there three times and not been able to turn around and get back down. I had to get out the 18-foot A-frame ladder to get him down all three times. His brother Arthur hasn't tried it yet. Heather and I painted the whole interior of the house a few years ago, and it's really high up there. At one point I had a 6-foot A-frame ladder up on the left-side plant shelf shown here in order to paint the upper corners. Never again.

We tried placing motion sensor operated spray cans on all of the ledges, putting knick-knacks in the way, and everything else we could think of. They still got up there if they wanted to.

Our 1st born, Kitty, got out on a narrow window ledge and walked down to the corner of the apt. block, stopping to look in everbody's windows. The streetcars were rumbling 2 storeys below. He came back in when he was ready. Circa 1982 Toronto.

I saw the same thing. We’re not either but we can see it from their website. I forwarded it to my own email and I can view it. If you’re interested in it pm me with you email and I can forward it to you via email and you should be able to see it. And if the suspense is killing you it really cute. All about a cat and bacon.

My furry friends "helping" set up the tree. They also won't leave the tree alone, thinking about that vacuum trick as well since they both are not fond of the vacuum. They are constantly chewing on the branches and trying to bat down the decorations lol

So...how well is my motion sensor vacuum contraption working? Just realized this morning that my oldest daughter had unplugged it so she could fiddle with her new Fender giutar amp in the same room as the tree. That was Saturday evening. It's now 10:45 Monday morning. The tree and surrounding decorations haven't been touched.

100% conditioning as been achieved. :D

That said....I just plugged it back up. I don’t trust those 2 turds. o_O
