lol, I was just referencing his need to paw at the inner walls of his litter box before he exits. He does it every time, and then starts meowing like he's in heat.

Ha! I have one that will only pee in one corner of the box, and never anywhere else. And we call our boys "pyramid builders" becuase they really get carried away with burying their crap.

I use the new "Slide" style litter

    Very nice looking Cat !!

My late cat "Snickers" did that all the time and would take her a couple minutes of scratching the litter box hood until she felt it was good enough !!!

Gizmo used to do that when he was a kitten but now he has a bad habit of kicking all the litter out onto the ground

The pic should be captioned "because F-U.." after that story;)

Our best cat we ever owned did that. If she had a punching bag she would have made it as a boxer. Only when she was leaving a poop would she do that...

Our Breezy will scratch the walls off of her tall liter box and our Angel used to try digging for China before she passed away. Bella seems normal so far, however, I would like to teach her how to light a match before she leaves the bathroom. Geeze almighty she could gass out an elephant sometimes.

Haha yes sir! And my wife whom I’ve been with for 6 years now isn’t an animal fan. Told her the cat was here before her and will be there if she decides to leave

With that explanation then most definitely yes - 3 of them. All have weird bathroom habits. 1 of them insists on being in the bathroom when I’m “dropping the kids off at the pool”.

Definitely the last place I’d want to be if I were a cat. This definitely explains “special” though.

Took Auggie to the vet this evening. The old girl wouldn’t eat yesterday evening and only ate a little bit this morning.
She ate all of her dinner this evening though before we went...

Vet said she seemed a bit too thin - just came in at 10lbs.

They took blood and we’ll have results tomorrow.

    :notsure:

My daughter gave her a good brushing and plenty of treats when we got home.

10lbs? Shit man, my flufftard is 6lbs 6oz.

I think she was the runt. Fine by me, she’s the most personable cat I’ve ever seen.

She used to be quite stout back in the day when we left dry food out.

Once we brought Ollie home about 2 1/2 years ago we began specific feeding times and no longer left dry food out to “browse” on all the time.

She dropped a few pounds after that.

Mine has always maintained a healthy weight. She’s going on 9, maybe 10 years old and doesn’t carry much excess weight. I took her to the vet recently and they thought she was a year or two old. When I said she was approaching double digits they didn’t believe me.

I have one that if I don’t leave the door open a bit for him to come in, he will just scratch and meow at the door until I’m done.

I have another that scratches the litter box, for what seems like forever, and then he jumps out and there is not a single drop of litter on his poo. Of course, he too has to dig to China to go pee.

We use a litter called Swheat Scoop. Have any of you used it? It’s made out of wheat. Supposed to be better for them and us. :notsure:
