Two boys, one girl, one cardboard...

 

This was a common sight when Snickers was still alive , they groomed ea other all the time !!!

 

The oranges do that to each other - they are the two boys. But Auggie doesn’t want anything to do with them. She used to mutual groom with her brother Ponce tho. I think she misses him.

 

I can tell Rascal misses her Sister !!!

 

Spotted this little one when at the skatepark with my son.... her name is Savannah, she is a Savannah cat.. the owner has no imagination on names. I honestly don't think he knows what he fully got himself into with that. Also said he paid 7k for her

 

Yikes. Yeah. Better get on that discipline now

 

That cat must be an L1 which is direct from an African and domestic parent which is illegal in CA. They can jump 6' high! I'd love to have one, but at 7k, you can rescue or care for a lion, tiger or something of that caliber for well over a year.

Henry goes in for his second follow-up visit with the cardiologist next week. He's been doing fine on the current meds, but we're starting to notice a change when he's next to his brother Arthur. Henry seems older even though they are litter-mates. It's hard to pin down exactly what is different, but we can definitely tell. That said, he's doing really well considering his situation. Hopefully we have enough time with him that he will make it to summer. The boy loves laying in the sun near an open window.

My immediate concern continues to be the availability of his most important drug; Vetmedin (Pimobendan). We are now only able to get it custom compounded from a specialty pharmacy, and that's both expensive and possibly less consistent than an FDA approved manufactured product would be. I deal with drug shortages at work sometimes, and the substitutes that fill the gaps are sometimes questionable.

We have decided to take Arthur in and get a full work-up done on him at the same time. We have no reason to believe that he will have heart trouble too, but we're told that he could have inherited the same problem and that it just hasn't hit him yet. We had no idea Henry had trouble until his heart failure episode, and we don't want another surprise like that ever. I won't be able to stop worrying about Arthur until we have some tests run, so we're just going to do it as a precaution. Apparently the prognosis is better the earlier you catch this kind of problem, so it's better to know even if the news is bad.

Anyway, next Wednesday is the big day, so we should know what's up with both of the boys by the end of next week.

I walked by that section of my bed and was greeted by his five sharp claws dragging across my barefoot !!!!


That reminded me that I need to trim his claws tonight ........ ouch !!!!!

Well ,we failed today. He circled the trap & left. The vet said try putting food just inside trap entrance at first then move it closer to the rear of cage later.
