Yup! He's a grumpy old bastard too. Still has brief periods of frisky...lasts about a minute then back to biting or asking for food.

His color still trips me out. LOL looks like a dirty orange tabby or a chocolate tabby ;) Very cool looking though!

Well we got the results for Henry and Arthur after their visit to the cardiologist on Wednesday, and it was all pretty good news. Henry continues to be stable on his current medication, and all his labs are normal. His heart enlargement has stabilized and he has no signs of heart failure at the moment. He eats a lot more than he used to but his weight is not changing so we need to monitor this a bit more, but otherwise no concerns. The Doc is also theorizing that the little bumps Henry gets on his face are an allergy to the Vetmedin chewable tabs - likely the flavoring. We haven't been able to get them for a couple of months, and he hasn't had any bumps since we had to switch to custom compounded capsules. Anyway, he's fine for now, and living well with spring coming.

Arthur does not have any signs of heart enlargement or valve problems like his brother, and I can't express just how relieved I am to hear that. The only thing they found was a sporadic arythmia. It's not bad and has no obvious cause. Arthur totally loses his shit when he has to go to the vet, so the current theory is that it was stress induced. He's so chill at home that nobody seems too concerned. Something to watch when he gets older, but for now no worries.

So, other than the huge bill, the visit was very positive. Henry goes back in four months - and every four as long as he's with us - but he is learning that it's not that bad and he doesn't seem to get as stressed out as he used to. Arthur doesn't need any follow-up unless he shows symptoms. Apparently cats can get wobbly and faint when they have bad arrhythmias, so that should be easy to watch for.

this color is called cinnamon. It's a rare color in non-purebred cats

My cat is brown too. She's a tabby but instead of the black tabby stripes, it's brown like a dark chocolate bar and the normally greyish tabby color is light brown as well. Very unusual color
