    ours really love those corrugated cardboard cat scratchers, seem to be money well spent...except they make a flippin' mess after getting scratched on often for a few weeks.

    Every time I clean the litter box, without fail, one of the cats has to come in right away and use it, as though it's a race to claim the fresh litter. Just now I went to take the dirty litter outside and hadn't moved the box into place, I come back in 30 seconds later and there's a massive fresh cat duece right there. Uncovered in all its foul smelling glory.
