I didn't know that existed, I will look into it even if he lives out of their area listed. I was thinking of asking the shelter to donate a cat seeing how he only had it about a week before it went missing.

OK thanks, I agree $150 did sound kind of high. He said it was neutered with all the shots too.

 

I wasn't sure of the exact area. Just trying to help, I am sure Chance could part with one and and not miss it

 

I don't feel right asking for a donation before I look into the pets 4 Vets and asking the shelter if they could donate it to a veteran that only had it 1 week.

 

He lives in the Northeastern part of Mass, but they may make an exception if they know the circumstances and that I'm willing to drive and pick him up.

Just feel this would make a great Christmas for him, as we never know what tomorrow will bring with life being fragile and he deserves it anyway.

 

I wouldn’t mind parting with the latest rescue. Damn, she’s a PITA.

What breed of cat is this????? I have one that I feed on my porch - I'll bet she was a local's house cat once. Some people just plain suck!!!

 

Pretty sure its Maine coone, at least has some of it. That's Gizmo, I have captain Fluffy ass. They are just about identical.

 

I call her Grover (she looks like the Muppet). Here she is with her kitts that have been adopted out.

Thanks again Jay, I put Richard's 01835 zip code in the Petsforpatriots search engine and this is what came back, "1 veterinarian partner and 0 shelter partners are in your eligible area", so looks like veterinarian care, but no shelter partners, I will look into if they can make an exception.

 

if not, call the local news and have them do a small piece/story on it.
