Let's See Your Cats!!!

I gave Ollie a bath early last week, he was a wet furry orange pogo stick the whole time. He's a brainless idiot - lovable but still an idiot. For some reason he thought it would be a great idea to roll around inside his litter box... He stank so bad I had no choice.
Fortunately he hasn't repeated it.

 

My wife and I teamed up and basically we did the following:

1. Cut their nails
2. Put on the thickest pair of jeans you have
3. Put on a long sleeve sweat shirt one or two
4. Sit in the tub with a towel between your legs
5. Fill up a 5 gallon bucket with warm water
6. Fill the tub a little with warm water
7. Insert cat letting their claws dig into the towel and hold them tight with two hands (prey they don't freak out) One person holding cat the other cleaning them
8. Use a little water from tub or bucket with a cup and wet them down (prey that they don't freak out)
9. Soap them up with some soap or flea treatment (prey they don't freak out)
10. Be sure to stay away from their face and ears with the soap and water use a wash cloth later.
11. Rinse them slowly (pray they don't freak out)
12. Dry them and then watch them lick themselves for the next hour
13. Wala Clean Cat, go to step 1 for the next cat (we have three so it is a weekend event)

We adopted a cat and it had ring worm so had two cats with it and had to give bathes two times a week for about a month. Now we have three and just wipe them down with a wet paper towel after we catch them.

 

Give mine a bath about once a month with shed control shampoo, she usually tries to escape about once per bath, howls the whole time like I'm beating her half to death then pouts for 4-6 hours after but luckily doesn't try to murder me in the process!

This is Minnie he is 9 1/2 years old and he has 1 eye.
For size reference he is a larger cat, those are 2" white tiles.

 

This new cat we have taken in actually scoops water out of the bowl with her paw to drink. anybody see a cat do that before? I will try to get some video but cats just know when they're being recorded.

Yep, our girl phoebe loves doing that. She loves fresh water so much she screams for a fresh cup if we're filling up at the fridge lol

 

We had a cat when I was growing up did that, It also ate its food like that...scooped it out of the bowl then ate it off her paw.

Here's a better pic of Goat the rescue Kitty 1st introduced back on page 44. We foster for a local animal shelter. When we picked up him and his 5 bothers and sisters they didn't even have their eyes open yet. He was the runt of the litter and we named him Goat because he had a little goatee and would make a total mess of himself whenever he ate.
