    I have some unfortunate news.

Today both of my cats are officially given the worst mouser award.

The mouse actually came up to my cat (panther), played with it and left.

My German Shepherd said “fuck that” and had a snack.

We still love our cats though.

Panther likes to ride around on the tractor. This makes doing dirt work difficult. 8A451E44-5BF0-48FF-8067-E245BCE40048.jpg

It was a rainy day here, that means quality time spent on the cat window watching the droplets fall from the sky. Might need a second deck here, window seats are a premium after all.

Folks, it's been a long hard year of getting these two into a place where we have a managed relationship with a much higher level of tolerance of each other ( mostly Bella learning more self-control ). I seem to be an acceptable platform of peace lately. A little over a year ago, this wasn't possible. 6 months ago we had signs of hope... Now, we have a light at the end of the tunnel.

We are fostering a cat for a coworker. He was having a very hard time at home due to a large dog and a small child who he did not get along with. He is a huge rag doll cat. Absolutely enormous.

He is afraid if this little thing:

    8DF9EB15-921F-4828-A91C-2A72B54807BF.jpg

She’s been extra possessive of me since he arrived a week ago and she is loudly aggressive whenever he is around, but I think she is also scared shitless.

    Any advice?

It’s the alpha/beta natural instinct. She wants to maintain her place.

Wish I had a better camera to show them off. His brother and him both have the same eyes. My little property homies. Less bugs in the garage , and the birds and squirrels keep a safe distance. A mouse or bird get brave every once in a while and end up on display in front of my garage. After I’ve made confirmation to the guys they’ve done a good job ............ Zero always eats the kill. LOLOL

The majestic Ripley not looking me in the eye because she doesn’t want me to get her down from a coat rack...that she got to by jumping from my shoulder.
