    He’s uber soft too.

    General question: These are both very shy cats, and the shelter mentioned to quarantine them in separate rooms for about two weeks. I’m not one to disregard advice, especially as a new cat owner.

    However, after being here for 15 min last night, Sinbad was up on the couch with me, being super affectionate and playful. Is the quarantine still necessary in order to set boundaries / make sure litter box use is established - at least while I’m at home? (Both are house-trained). Any suggestions would be appreciated.
