I would watch how they interact with each other especially at feeding time. Maybe set up a camera when you are gone for short periods of time.
Sinbad looks to have adapted to his new home quickly.

What's your Cat's favorite way to wake you up every Morning ??? . Rascal my Tuxedo cat wanted me up early this morning . She would come into my room and meow loudly over and over then run around the house

She would then go into my bathroom and open and close cabinet doors and if that wasn't enough she started pawing the glass doors of the shower enclosure . It's normally Gizmo who wakes me up every morning with a gentle sweep of his paw over my face

Also Rascal sounded like a very large dog running across my wood floors

mine will scamper across the carpet. Sounds like thunder outside. Then if I’m still not up they will jump on the bed and bat my face. If that doesn’t work, they nudge under the covers and move all around and bite my toes haha. And finally if none of the above work they team up together and repeat lol. Here’s a shot once I woke up today from Maggie.

Otis runs across our pillows until one of us gets up. He walks from my wife’s side to mine, then runs from mine to her side. This goes on nonstop until he gets what he wants.

Slow introductions are definitely the best route for establishing friendships between new cats. This really applies when bringing a new cat into a home with existing cats. Being that they’re both new it might be that they both try to establish dominance or they might be best buds right from the beginning. You’ll get an idea of how they interact with a closed door between the two. If you push this too fast then they might end up hating each other. They still might not end up liking each other and they just tolerate one another.

Agree 100% but I also feel theres a bit of luck involved as well.

initially Ollie had a huge problem with the new kitten. Even peed a little on the floor to express his displeasure.

we slowly kept introducing them and provided mutual treats and praise during those times.

eventually it paid off and now they play and fight and mutually groom each other just like Ollie already did with Harry.

best of luck but remember to be patient with them.

    Thanks for advice. Truly appreciated.

Just got home with Boris. I’ll free Sinbad from the bathroom since he seems comfortable already, and place Boris in there. The shelter also mentioned patients as a big part of it.

I don’t really have room two quarantine both, so I’m planning on setting up a second litter box in the kitchen for now. That shouldn’t cause problems down the road? I’m assuming since it’s temporary...

Yes, dual litter boxes, one for each to use in their own sectioned area. And yes, treats, pets, and praise during positive interactions.

Back in the day it used to be Enzo who would just start walking around on you while in bed. Not too bad really.

Now he stays asleep, but Lola starts reaching up and jiggling door handles, batting at blinds, or scratching at doors just to annoy the ever living sh*t out of us lol

I wake up at 4am for work so this tends to start between 3-3:30, so I have a squirt bottle at the ready. And if we think about it, we will move the blinds up halfway...
