Let's See Your Cats!!!

No squirt bottle ever stopped any of our cat's internal alarm clock which were set to our schedules.

 

Never said it stopped it, just delays the inevitable

 

we had a cat that would run around all hours of the night waking us up....so we would lock her in spare room with her litter box, food, water and in the morning we would see her hooking her paw under the door jiggling it...

 

We keep the cats out of the bedrooms at night for the most part. Whenever we forget to shut the doors (or if we happen to leave one open after making a overnight pit stop) inevitably a cat or two ends up in a ball at the foot of the bed.

 

If we don’t get up early enough on a weekend this cinnamon asshole will do this to the bedroom door...

One of our cats would do that in the litter box when dropping a duece!

 

That’s exactly what Otis does if we lock him out. He does it if we try to go to the bathroom without leaving him access, and it does it at the guest room first thing in the morning. He knows he’s not allowed in there and will sprint from anywhere in the house the second he hears the door open.

 

Also... the Roomba was kind enough to clean up after him this morning. About once a month he has a baby turd that doesn’t quite make it on his way to the box. Well today I got to break out the carpet cleaner and mop.

 

Roomba AI is lacking...lol

 

I’ve heard of them doing it with dog poop, pretty common because it’s too soft to register. Any time Otis has had an accident he gets REALLY anxious about trying to scratch at it and meow. Not sure what happened today. First time he hasn’t “alerted” us to it.

Yeah right... that dude don’t care. He gets anxious if he notices a little poop and try’s to scratch at it, and gets anxious with fireworks. Anything else, he gives zero fucks. Been sleeping there for two hours already.

We generally don't have an issue with them trying to wake us up. On the occassion that they do, it's a furious scratching at the door. The responsive launching of a pillow at the door puts a stop to it.

However, once the door is opened, they do like to be a pre-coffee trip hazard around the top of the stairs.

 

She keeps looking back at me to see if I'm watching.

every reason the bed sometimes does not get made.

 

I just make the bed with the cats in it. Sometimes they get covered up, sometimes they get slid around. Sometimes they even notice.

 

These two chonkers... never miss a meal
