Let's See Your Cats!!!

Our Marty was super “spicy” at first too. With a lot of love and integration with our other oranges he’s simmered down quite a bit.
Still super stupid though.

 

Munch flipped out earlier today with this visitor...

 

I'm not equipped in either time, money, or patience for a longer-term socialization of a non-kitten feral. She'll simmer down, but I won't be the one doing it. That's life doing cat foster.

 

Completely understand. It’s certainly a commitment. We were fortunate that Marty was brought in really young and had an easier time adapting.

 

We got one of those brushes when we got a long haired cat and nothing would work on him. It really is a game changer! The short haired cat likes it, too, and she never liked getting brushed.

 

Laundry time again dad?

 

He's getting better with it, but since the other two can see him outside he just goes running for them and wines. My other two HATED the leash since I first got them so I stopped trying with them. Since Pancake is alot younger I figured he might take to it quicker and easier. Time will tell! I agree, the outdoors is rough on a cat, sure they'll survive but eventually something will get the best of em.

They love the outside so besides sitting on the screened in porch this is the next best thing

Thanks. She (Helena) is beautiful. One of 2 we have. Bar none the sweetest, most calm and gentle cat I've ever been around. Zero fear of strangers too. She's a joy.

Juno, the Tabby mix is a sweet heart too...but in a different way. A bit wilder, doesn't like strangers and absolutely bonded with my youngest daughter.

My youngest daughter and I were out for a late morning walk around a big pond a few blocks away. Came across this sweet little guy. Looks to be a year old at the most. We gave him some love before moving on.

That’s the first time we’ve ever seen her lay on the steps.

 

Is it a stray?

 

We have been having this stray come by the house every evening. It was in our backyard the other night and we woke up to the sound of all three of our cats screaming and doing total fire engine sounds. They were all jacked up afterward and all three had huge puffy tail. Sucks waking up to that!

 

Bella got her first bath with us today, a shower actually, and I was terrified of her potential reaction because I would be in there with her. Turns out, she didn't even meow once, not one noise. She did nudge me a few times looking for some reassurance which caused a stoppage for hugs, scratches, and the reassurance she wanted. She and Breezy had plenty of snacks afterwards.

 

No, we’ve had her for about 12 years.
