    Yeah color in cats are close or within the XY sex chromosomes.......similar to why no/extremely rare male cats with more than three colors. At least calico, etc. Muted browns and such happen like my Siamese tom has like 5 - 6 browns, white, near black too

    We have a PetSmart that is about a mile from the house. They don't have it. When I click on the link it says it's out of stock here and honestly, I'm not sure it's ever been in stock at our location. That said... that is the price we are paying at the vet so other than having to drive a few more miles to get it, I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. I just hope it works.

    Because as I stated, tricolor (reds,yellows, oranges, torties, calico) in males is almost always lethal. The color genes are in with XX chromosomes.
