Let's See Your Cats!!!

That’s a tough call for sure!!! Do you have any kind of animal control in your area? Something they may address? If not, it may be best just to let nature run it’s course, but I would keep giving him food and water until that day comes. Of course if it looks like it’s absolutely suffering and it’s safe to take a shot then that might just be what’s best for him.

 

I was cleaning up kids toys to mow yesterday and saw Macy in the store window. I may have startled her.

 

I would say the cat is getting into the move. She loves exploring all the boxes and shredding the packing paper. And now she’s sacked out in the suitcase.


She doesn’t know it yet be we are moving back to our house in New Mexico, where she has a great big yard and and endless supply of lizards to chase. And since she’s a fair weather cat, she’ll be much happier in warm sunny NM. She never really took to Wisconsin. Neither did I for that matter!

 

We have participated in TNR (Trap Neuter Release) for years and there are some difficult cases that just can’t be recovered. While it is difficult to euthanize a very ill cat, like you say, it is the humane thing to. It never feels good and it never gets to be easy. Hang in there and trust your instincts.

 

First weigh-in today: all are around 5 oz at 3 days old. Cosmo (grey), Clancy (orange) and Kona (Black).
