Been awhile since I posted on this thread. Some of you might remember I picked up a 10 week old kitten for my wife's birthday back in August. He weighed a hair under 2 pounds.

He was having issues with our Alpha female. She saw him only has a parasite in her territory. Things have improved quite a bit. She can be quite dramatic at times in response to his kitten antics. But they're more or less getting along. Thankfully she hasn't tried to hurt him that we know of....though she will smack the shit out of him when he crosses whatever line is the flavor of the day.

He and our other resident female have been fine from the get go. She's quite patient with him.....most of the time.

Anyway....he's growing fast. Very athletic and quite clever too. Much more of a problem solver than our other 2. Loves to play fetch...sometimes non stop. Super affectionate....with lots of kisses and headbutts.

Your cat family sounds exactly like ours. Suki is definitely the alpha bitch and poor Amos tries to get her affection but instead he usually gets swatted. He weighs about 18-19 pounds and out weighs Suki by 8 pounds and Louisa by 11 pounds. He’s also one of the smartest cats we’ve ever had. He knows how to open doors in the house. Definitely the sweetest male cat we’ve ever had.

My Panther aka Dexter had one hell of a bite on his tail. Vet wasn’t sure what it was, but bigger than a house cat.

After a couple days we noticed him not using his tail and found this...

Yes he did. I must have the coolest cat for him to let me help him. Most cats would have clawed my eyes out and ate them.

That's how we got our first cat ROBITUSSIN. As a young cat she came up and hung out on my porch; she gave birth to 2 kitts that didn't make it. One day she had a bite on one of her legs. She climbled up the porch steps and was chill. I looked at her and said off to the vet you go cat. She got antiseptic, a shot and a bandage and was good to go. I said CAT you are mine now! In the house she came and never went by an open door to the outside world again - she would run in the opposite direction whenever you opened the front or the back door and if she was sitting nearby. She was a great cat! :amen:
