Here is one of mine. Rescued him when he fell out from underneath a truck in front of us in a turn lane on a busy highway when he was about 6 weeks old. He was NOT happy when we picked him up. The Captain America doll was given to him that same day and he is really attached to it.

Today, while taking him to the vet, he "houdinied" out of the pet carrier behind the vet. Took me 8 hours and three trips back to the wooded lot behind the vet's office to find him....18 feet up a tree...in the most densely packed underbrush I have EVER had to blaze a trail through.

So, I have saved his life TWICE and the little snot shows no gratitude whatsoever. Oh, the life of a cat!

Here he is with our other one (rescued from outside a Dr's office) when he was little.

Monster snagged the hammock in front of the fireplace this morning and was smacking anyone walking by that looked like they wanted to take it from her.

I love my cat. I love my cat. I love my cat.

I gotta keep saying that to calm myself.

I know cats aren't suppose to be this hard (I'm sure she could be more difficult) but dang.

You know its love when you have to cut turds out of their butt fur. The other day there was one dangling from the end of ones tail......I thought they were more careful than this. ugh. FYI don't get long hair cats.

Yeah, we tried to take them to get groomer but they HATE the crate...freaked out, groomer wasn't ready, just a bad day lol. I usually just trim with scissors carefully while they're distracted eating. They would freak at the sound of a buzzer too:(

If there is a black cat in your path she probably wants pets.
