Yeah, I do have a hardcover copy of it as well. The battered paperback I bought used for $2 when I was first building my collection of Clancy works, and now it's my 'outdoors' copy

Is Ghost letting you get any closer without the protection of the door? I hope someday you can bring him/her in and Ghost decides that's better than being outside in the cold.

 

Not able to get very close and I was a little surprised that I got that close for a picture. She bolted shortly after. The older one that shares same looks, the wife is able to get closer to that one. That one will almost take food from her hand but not quite.
We'll just make sure they have some food and water. With 5 cats inside lol, seems like it be insane to bring anymore in

I haven’t seen that many cats since the last time I went to my aunts house.

My bonded pair that I’ve had since college. Luna, the black one is in shirt/collar timeout for a little overgrooming lately. Klondike is the white ball of energy

 

It’s this thread that keeps me coming back to TW almost daily.

How many strays do you have hangin around?

 

Yes, I like ghost. I asked the wife she said that there 5 or 6 strays around but I only regularly see 3 of them. Some of them it's very obvious they've had a very rough life. Theres a older one who I think Beanie Weanie gets her looks from and he/she has a bad leg and looks like one good eye. I'm not sure if you can tell in the picture but Ghost has a eye that doesn't look healthy like the other.

Lol. We're not collecting. The oldest is 19, then a 7, 3, and 1.

 

Also, thank goodness for automated litter boxes.

 

I've never been able to get those dang things to work right.

 

There's tweaking for sure. The Litter Robot is pretty awesome though. Our LR2 is about 10 years old, the LR3 is 3 years old or so. We also got a PetSafe rotating box for the old cat (she started in the LRs but the step is a little much for her these days). That one got RMA'd in under a month but the replacement has been working okay (first one stripped the worm gear in the motor). The LR2 has had the occasional replacement part but overall, same motor as when it started.
