We have a ginger boy who has adopted us. He has freckles too, is this common with Gingers?

I had been sitting on the couch for a good half an hour fiddling with my phone...not really paying attention to him. Then after a while I realized he was quiet. In fact, I thought he had walked away.

I guess today is “Sunday”

 

I think everyday is Sunday when you're a cat

 

Stray that showed up at our back door cold and hungry. Not chipped, looked on FB lost and found and found nothing so we are keeping her. At the vet now to have her checked out and chipped.

On his nose too. I used to think it was just dirt but they're actually black spots.

 

Here with spots or freckles too. This girl Tigger, she's getting up in age. Found as a kitten in our garage when we moved in, '05
Usually she gets a treat and moves along but last night guess she wanted attention so I let her hang out and pet her some.

 

Latest news; wife and daughter tell me that Beanie Weanie and Ghost both will come up to the window and rub up against it with their hand there. Kind of like the kittens are letting them simulate petting them
I tried it this morning but my girl Skidder got jealous.

We’ve got the same thing here. One “thunder buns” and two self regulators. It’s kind of a pain for us it it fits our lifestyle. They get fed 2 times in morning hours and then I afternoon/evening feeding. When the 2 self regulators walk away the remaining dry food gets recycled back into the bag and “Miss Piggy” gets what she gets. My theory is that when she got dumped at the shelter she had 6 kittens and then they were saved by the Siamese rescue. There was another mama there that had 3 kittens and she wasn’t feeding them. So Suki allowed the other 3 to nurse from her too and when we adopter her those 9 little monsters had pretty much sucked her dry. I think she’s now mentally scared by that and is trying to over compensate to regain what she lost. We do feed her a metabolic food so she gets her fill but just with lower calories.
