Wow, I would have guessed that a Cougar for sure.
This little one has been named Veggie. He's (or she) a curious fellow. I was the first awake this morning and I believe he seen stirring inside the house and wondering where's my morning treat.20210717_082216.jpg

Pretty sure I saw one up in placerville/coloma here... it was a large field, deer were everywhere... including in the middle of the road. We were looking at the old town jail. I walked around the corner to look at the deer walking around (literally 15 deer in sight) when some movement caught my eye at the tree line, which wasn't a deer. It appears to be a large cat. It was either a cougar or Bob cat, but I have to say it was about the size of the does walking around.
It turned and walked up into the tree line, and I went to the truck.:fistbump:

I saw a Bob cat run across the road while in big bear. I was about 100 yards away as it ran across, you could definitely tell it was a Bob cat. Darker colors, stubby tail.... this one up north was tan, had a swagger to its walk and a long tail with a black tip. I was about 150 yards from this one.

Yup, we've been using Silver Vine for a few years since regular catnip does nothing for them.

Been to Placcerville once over thirty years ago. Me and a friend drove that friend's girlfriend up there from Phoenix. We had a fun trip filled with lots of memories. Somewhere near Placcerville there was a good size Creek that we all went swimming in, met a couple of cool girls.
