Let's See Your Cats!!!

Update. The little lady is doing better after a teaspoon of pumpkin last night. Passed a few more chewed up nerf balls and acting like her self again. No more rubber toys I guess

 

Glad to hear. We try and keep stuff we think the cats might try and chew on/swallow out of their reach but they always find a way. I've found everything from pieces of earplugs and hair ties in their litter box.

 

I have to keep Harley's nails trimmed because of this. Every night when I get into bed, he spends a good 5 minutes kneading all over my shoulders.

It feels great actually cause he's a solid chunk of cat, but if his nails are too long then it hurts like a mofo lol.

Like a free massage

 

That or he's playing the long game and trying to tender me up for when I die and he gets to munch on my corpse

 

People pay good money for acupuncture

Our latest fosters. The kittens are approximately 3 weeks old, Momcat is young and very friendly and has a great purr!

 

The little imp couldn’t hang to watch the Phillies game tonight.

 

Feral kitten we've been feeding for a month that is now staying on the patio after feeding and interacting with our two indoor cats through the glass. I trapped her last Thursday night and brought her inside releasing her into a small hall bathroom. I entered the bathroom every hour Friday and just sat with her, she spent most of the time behind the toilet. After a few trips in I brought food, she came out ate but wouldn't let me touch her. She's sweet and never once hissed or showed her teeth. By the next morning she would let me touch her while she ate and after a few more trips in she would allow me to rub her ears and Cheeks, even pawed at my hand when I stopped.

We called the spay and release group and had them come pick her up. They returned her yesterday while we were at work releasing her in our back yard where she's spent her whole life, staying under our shed that she shares with a skunk.

We lost some trust but she's fixed and got a rabies shot. Tonight she's back on the patio steps after eating, interacting with Mama and Baby through the glass but will bolt if you attempt to open the door.

We don't plan to trap her again but will try to patiently win her trust till she allows us to come outside and pet her. We are going to cut a hole in an old large Coleman cooler and make a waterproof home for her on the back porch.

Hoping we can win her trust enough where she'll come inside this winter, we'll see.

 

Thanks. Ya, shes a different cat today. I think the constipation really floored her. Believe it or not canned pumpkin was hard to come by. Who knew it was such a commodity.

Yikes, I'm use to dogs eating the gnarliest of things, not cats. This one seems to love anything rubber especially rubber bands. I'm still learning as I go.

I remember my Jack Russell would some how get into my box of paint balls and go to town. His poop looked like a Kandinsky painting lol.

Here are my boys. First is Skylar and the tabby is Harlee. Harlee is kind of part dog; he plays fetch with his little toy fish and drools a lot for some reason LOL. Sky is 100% cat but is favorite thing in the whole world is egg
