What cat? All I see is dirt with a dirt mound casting a shadow.

 

Gracie is so small. When she wants to look outside she has to put her front paws on the door threshold to see. Henry was just siting next to her with his front paws on the floor and was still a full head taller. Wish I could have gotten that picture.



She is still doing good. She's had some intermittent butt issues, including a little blood in her stool. The vet thinks it's a food allergy, so we're transitioning her to hypoallergenic food. The dry kibble is no problem, but we have yet to find a moist that she will eat. Even with half the problem solved she seems to have improved.

OMG! Both Wally and the Grom do this all the time. They're 98% Indoor panthers but I let them out in the backyard as neither have the ability or desire to jump a fence any longer. As soon as I let them out, they race to the first dirt spot and roll and roll and dust themselves like a damned chicken! There are times they will wander into the house and they'll be unrecognizable because they're coated with silt. If I'm lucky, I'll catch it and direct them outside where I give them a beating with a brush to get the bulk of it off them. Amazingly, they spend the rest of the day preening and by evening, they're completely clean!

 

She's also very happy that I just went full-time-remote. She likes to hang with me in my home-office. The coffee mug was not a plant...just happened to be there.

 

Hobbes. Passed away a year and a half ago at the young age of 8.

My condolences. I know your pain. I’ve been through that many times with my critters. I still fondly remember all my furry babies.

 

Butt issues, lol! Cats are very resilient. She should be fine. Try Fancy Feast seafood (light blue can). I used to drive 15 miles to get it for Lisa. She also liked the chicken soufflé, but I don't think they make it anymore. Cheers buddy!

I’m always so thankful for all the pictures and videos of all my past pets. It makes me smile remembering them and grateful that I was picked by them to love them for their sometimes too short of time here on this earth.
