very sorry to hear of your loss. Reminds me of my cousins cat named Frankie because of the blue eyes. Losing a pet is never easy and I wish you peace and comfort during this time, no words can help you overcome your loss but sometimes a new rascal can do wonders to help heal the pain, something to think about in the future :)

Hope your truck isn’t damaged too bad. I seen that and cringed. Damn ball joints.

Yeah it was wild, from what I can tell the damage is from where the part failed. Doesn't look like anything else got too messed up. Should be getting it up on the lift in a couple days to do a better inspection.

    My poor truck :anonymous:

We will get him back up in tip top shape in no time! So thankful not only for my Tacoma world support but for my family who stepped up big time to support me and help. My brother left in the middle of a bowling game to come be with me, still had the bowling shoes on

good you are ok and there was no other traffic involved.

That was one of my fears driving old muscle cars. Especially around curves.

Oh Kacie, so sorry that happened to you. I just read your other thread to see what happened. That sucks. :( Plenty of people on here who know about steering components, including me. That is one long "skid" mark. Glad you didn't get hurt. If you need anything, just ask! Bowling shoes... LOL! :)

I had no idea what had actually happened until I got out of the truck! I definitely did not keep my cool at first. My first thought was that my tire somehow exploded and I didn’t want to be in the middle of the road so I went over as quickly as I was able and the truck would allow. This is the road I live off of so I’ll always be reminded of that mark I left on the pavement.
Thank you Rob :)… the bowling shoes gave me a good laugh! We still went back to the bowling alley after all the excitement.

I know this isn't the appropriate thread to post this in, but thought Kacie needed a laugh or two :)

Rob thank you for this! Really brightened up my Sunday  I appreciate all the love and being able to share my story not related to kitties for a few posts. Helps shine positive light on a not so fun experience.

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday snuggled up with their furry babies. :D

    Makes me wonder...

What does a good kitten retire from?

I’d say this ol gal is retiring from all the work she has put in keeping all the snakes and critters at bay! But also I think it’s just an excuse for her to get to come inside and live a extra mellow more spoiled life style ;)

    That makes sense.

My kittehs have never been 'working' kittehs. I'm trying to fathom what retirement from sleeping 23.5 hours a day and a half hour of eating and pooping in the litterbox looks like!

Must be nice!! They basically lived their whole life in retirement
Iv always said a hungry cat is a good cat, keeps them doing their job especially being out on land. But of course I can’t help but spoil them rotten along the way.
