    I have some bittersweet news. Our 12 year old chubby orange male passed away from a heart disease, we think. This was absolutely devastating for my wife and I as he was our baby (and my profile pic). He lived a great life and I’m happy we had him for as long as we did. 100 years wouldn’t have been long enough. Enough of the bitter part though, here comes the sweet. After a couple weeks of coming home to an empty place we decided to find another kitty in need of rescuing. We came across this guy who had been beaten severely and abandoned on the streets until some saint of a woman took him to a shelter and eventually to a foster home, then finally home with us for his forever home. He was awfully terrified at first but he has really warmed up and is by far the sweetest and happiest cat I’ve ever met. We call him Danny Greene. Since the mean streets of Cleveland and an abusive home couldn’t keep this guy down!! We are still grieving our loss but having this sweetheart around makes things that much brighter. He wants nothing more than pets and love and more food haha.

    I'm sorry for what you went through too. This circle of life thing has that inevitable unavoidable end that includes all of us in it, but because we have love it makes it a hard thing. The key though, is your new little guy's need for that love! If not for you guys he probably wouldn't make it. It's all good:)

    A buddy had a cat with 8 toes on each paw. Stray/rescue, but most likely the result of continuous inbreeding. Adorable little guy with huge paws.
