My wife snapped a pic of me, working from home on a work call.



Wife wanted to foster kittens. But we ended up with Tabs (Tabitha) instead. She has been a fantastic addition to the family


Funny thing is that she looks a lot like our other cat Katie.



So now we have two. Same same. Though of course they couldn’t be more different

 

That is definitely "a pair to draw to!"

We know these fur persons have staff, and they make sure we know it. Baker will pop me while I'm sitting here to let me know I need to get to work! Open doors, get the water running, shake loose some food, scoop that litter box. I'll never be sure when cats get their 16 hours of sleep each day, since they've been better than an alarm clock.

But, but they're all so very cute; first one been doing battle with a imaginary foe this morning; I like the second one picture....eat till your about to burst then nap!

 

I’ve had enough of this shit already , shut the lights and quiet down

 

Had a cat-tastrophe yesterday! Stupid me left my garage door open into the evening - I forgot all about it. What could possibly go wrong you ask? Well, the senior feral momma cat meandered in and I didn't know it. She spent all night in there and all day of the 4th. When I didn't see her for breakfast I said to myself I bet she's in the garage. Well, she was. Heard her meowing last night (4th) and when I moved stuff around she jumped up and hid someplace else.

I left food and water out for her, left the lights on and checked on her at 11:00PM but no cat/noise. This morning I went down there and heard her soft meows again, but when I moved stuff around she shut up. I wound up leaving the garage door open a bit and she finally found her way outside again. Good thing she was inside because the fireworks in the street were loud and would've spooked her something awful.

 

This one was licking my leg, salty maybe
Or trying to clean me up (I certainly do need a shower)

@ColoradoTJ I think this one your daughter said the cutest. It's one of a couple females from the litter. My daughter calls her Noodle. She was meow for some attention earlier this evening.

 

Tough night. Seems like we enjoyed more fireworks in the neighborhood than the year before. Maybe some figured they'd drive over to the rez for the cheapest gas prices (no taxation on the reservation) and at the same time load up on fireworks and launch a light show from the backyards with the big boomers. Baker disappeared somewhere in the apartment, but appeared when I started looking in kitchen cupboards when I opened doors earlier. Fortunately, cats don't seem to like coffee or tea, or they'd probably keep us awake longer.

 

That face is everything!!!

 

Sweet little gift from my mom. If you ever find yourself in Portland Maine it’s worth the stop for some blueberry pie!
