    twas back in the mid 80's I had a Dodge Power Wagon and I went down to the pool hall and bought this here 8 ball, I drilled it and tapped it and I have used it in every last truck I have had since. I've had to fill it in and redrill and tap it a time or two because of the different sizes and stuff, but I still have it.

    its a flossy knob. its actually a weighted carbon steel with a textured powdercoat which they claim helps it not get blazing hot in the sun.

    Yes, it's a functioning wrist pin. It's not funky at all. The motion is pretty limited as the post hits on the inside of the skirt. I have made it with a decent amount of drag so it stays in whatever position you leave it.
