thanks man! if you can see, i have another macbook pro off to the right side that actually feeds the Dell on the right. I control both laptops using the newer macbook pro in the middle with a tool called synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net)

thanks for the suggestion! i think i'll change the desktop in the middle to a "straight on" shot of the truck. :D

Try pressing the left CTRL and the PRT SCR (Print Screen) buttons simultaneously to take a screenshot and then opening paint and pasting it in and saving the image. That will screenshot the whole desktop. If you are wanting to screenshot just the open frame, or window, use the left ALT key plus the PRT SCR (Print Screen) buttons simultaneously and paste it from the clipboard into paint or whatever imaging softewar you prefer.

And the wallpaper that normally runs on it. The desktop resolution is 5040X1050 across the three monitors with the fourth smaller touchscreen in the lower center omitted. but I think you get the point. Now I run an app named "Fences" now that hides all of the icons for me when not needed.

That sure looks like the road coming out of Blue Lakes near Carson Pass (Hwy 88). But probably not since you're in So Cal.

It's actually near Red River, New Mexico.
Here's the route we took (red is trip out, green is the ride while we were there, and blue is the trip back. The blue overlaps the red out of San Diego):
