Don't let them lick the stitches... Ollie did after she had surgery (or maybe she was doing it excessively) and got INFECTED.

where is this park at? I would love to take my dog there.

Edit: Never mind, I figured out where it is. Only about 5 miles from my house actually. Looks like I know where I'm going this weekend!

Pics of my dog to come soon...after i can get them off my phone :)

Here is Roxy! I adopted here only 2 months ago. She is a 5 year old Rottweiler. She is super sweet and trained very well. However I can tell whoever had her before beat her as she gets scared when I'm holding large objects sometimes. So I don't really feel bad for whoever lost her.

Yeah thanks, Tank just gave it a couple licks then I put a t-shirt on Chubby to keep it covered, but able to air out. Vet said Chubs will be lightly bandaged and will have a drain, but I'll still put a shirt on him again if the Vet says that is ok. Chubby never bothers his stitches.
I have 2 styles of e-collars/cones for Tank if he needs one to stay away from his stitches, but being that he doesn't have a long snout I don't even know if he can reach, he is scared of the collars though so I've been trying to get him use to them.

Oh yeahhhh you train her TANK....lots of treats...first show it to him then treat him.....nest hold it by hand then take it off a couple of times then treat him....then put it on him and leave it and of course treat him.....he might like a cup of coffee or a little bit of beer for a treat....C if that will work for him....oh yeah and just in case he's not getting it.....lots of loving with all of it....

Did they remove the tumor from Chubs? If so what did the vet say....

Haha, yeah he gets extra special yummy treats while wearing the collar...that is once I actually get it on him! I will start working with him again for this week so hopefully by Thursday he isn't too scared of it. Maybe I'll smear some ez-cheese on the collar itself :p.

Surgery for both of them is this coming Thursday the 27th :). I'll post up the results then.
    Thanks!!
