    Haha :D
I have this one which he tolerates the best and it works fine since he doesn't have a snout

and this one....just in case the other style doesn't work out.

He probably won't need either of them though since I'll be with him the entire time, but just in case ;) ...can never be over prepared.

I bought one like Chris had for Molly, just in case Ollie needs surgery again (which she does), but I wish I had seen the inflatable one. I really like it, and I think I could leave that one on all the time with no issues.

I like that one the best cause Tank freaks out with the ones blocking his vision. It's not so great for dogs who have long noses or are flexible to reach around it, that's the biggest complaint people have with it..but it works great for Tank. It's harder for them to lay down with though, but he figured it out in a short amount of time. Oh and he can't get out the dog door with it on, but I don't want him sneaking out and hurting himself anyway.
What's Ollie need surgery for? Hope she is ok!

Ollie has (more) lumps growing :( all over. She has them on both her sides as well as her tummy. I'm wondering how they could do them all at once... how will she lay down and not hurt herself - one incision won't be enough. But I really don't want to put her through two surguries...

I put the inflatable one on my Cairns....but she figured out how to get out the doggie door...wow is she a handfull....what's up with all the tumors on the other pup? I'm just curious (since I lost two of mine to cancer) if you spread alot of chemicals on your lawn or anywhere the kids might be....I'm really watching myself this time and am very careful with what I spray on the inside.

Big day for your kids isn't it Kristin? I hope Ollie (blog on top of me) does well with his surgery...I'd like to know more about it when you get the chance.

That's what he "thinks" they are... I know one is, but the rest :notsure: Just don't wanna take the chance that they aren't something more serious

I've only used chemicals on my yard twice since I've had her (and she's 10). She is allergic to "stuff" and I didn't want to risk her getting sick. I don't use any sprays in my house, either. The only thing she's gotten once or twice a year is benadryl - which the doc said to give her when she has an "episode", which is a reaction to ???? Don't know what the cause is, but her face and ears swell up maybe once or twice a year and the benadryl helps.

The only thing I can think of... is I store her food in a plastic container. I've done it her whole life. Don't know if it's one of the "bad" plastics...

I can't really imagine storing your food in plastic containers would cause the tumors...sadly enough Ollie may be predisposed to it. It's like I told FoxySandChick (Kristin) you may want to see if your doctor can contact an oconlogist or maybe you can and see what they give their patients in the treatment of tumors. I would start my research now and see if there are any colleges that specialize in animal cancer. I think there is a college in Florida (Jacksonville) and I thought there was another in Penn. In either case let all of us know here what you find out. If I wasn't tied up with a major military exercise right now I would jump on the net for you to see what I could find out....let all of us what you discover...samples may be required to reach a diagnosis...

Sorry to have to say..Chubby didn't make it through surgery :(.

The orignal diagnoses of Lipoma was incorrect . I had him tested twice in the past year and both times they came back with fatty tumor...well this new Vet opened his neck and he is pretty sure it is cancer, it was very vascular and invasive, Lipomas are not like that. He said 1 major artery was already blocked off and he was only getting blood to his brain from the other 1, which is why he was starting to show affects of it and suffer. He couldn't even attempt to remove it as it just started bleeding out. He said even if he didn't remove it and could stop the bleeding Chubby would be suffering and wouldn't have lasted much longer. It's grown pretty rapidly in the past 5 months and was taking over everything in his neck. So the best thing was to stop his suffering now.

He is going to be cremated and we are going to take his ashes to the dunes which was his favorite place.

I'm pretty angry that the previous Vet tested him twice and gave me the wrong diagnoses, but Chubby won't be suffering anymore.

Tank is home from his neuter surgery and is doing fine. His liver tests are still very high, but we are going to give it some more time and test again in a few months since he still has no symptoms.

Here is my boy in his favorite place...
