Lucy had to have back surgery, and can’t navigate stairs without recreating the injury that the surgery corrected. Kiki is at risk for the same kind of injury. The ramp doesn’t put the stress on the spine that going up and down stairs does, so adios stairs.

If I’d have thought for a moment that Lucy could have been seriously hurt by stairs, I’d have built the ramp years ago.

Now I need a better gate that keeps the stairs from being an option.

My son and his girlfriend said that her dog wouldn't get up in my recliner with me, I'd just have to settle for the Corgi sitting with me. Well obviously they don't know me.

They are even surprised that my wife and I have been able to fatten him up a little. When they go to her parents he will not eat more than a couple bites. He's got some problems due to being mistreated before Becky rescued him but he's coming around. Having him around the Corgi has really helped him.

He'll be best in a family without kids it sounds. I hope you're able to get him a good spot.

Some up to date pics of our boy we found. His front feet are slowly starting to point outward more with each passing month, his underbite game is getting stronger, and his teeth are getting crooked....we love it!!! He has this thing where he has to collect all his toys in his bed or he won't be able to sleep.

We're lucky to have him too. He was only about 8 inches long when we found him. No signs of his mom anywhere, he had pneumonia, living under a burnt fiberglass boat. Probably wouldn't have lived too much longer if he wasn't found.

He's a character. His front legs and underbite make me wonder if he has a little English bulldog in him.

    I'm going to say this..........

I'm fast learning that Tacoma enthusiasts are cool folks.

I've always know that responsible dog owners are great folks.

Thusly...............everyone in this thread are SUPERCOOLAWESOME folks.

Dog people are my people. We get it. I couldn't imagine not having them in my daily life. I'm very grateful I have a wife who loves our dogs, too.....they are well mannered & loving little dogs who get along well with each other and the family. She is open minded in the discussions we've had about me wanting to a larger breed. Doing my homework now. It's going to happen....when the timing is right.

Something else to really look forward to.
