No there is no tray. I’m considering integrating something in to the crate pad somehow. Just have to figure a dog proof way to run the wires out of the crates.

I picked up my 8 week old german shepherd puppy last weekend... she's a little landshark but so smart and has nerves of steel already. She's annoying my 12 year old beagle but he's warming up to her. Her name is Etta!

My Mishka is a hugger, but mostly in the mornings when I sit down to put on my socks while getting dressed. She will run up, lean her whole self into me, and flop over on to my feet while I pet, praise, and tell her good morning. I like to think it's out of love, but it might be more of a "pre-apology" for the things she is going to do to the cat, the other dog, and so on for that particular day.

Here she is not being a shithead to someone or something. Mischievous Mishka! Love this girl.

Layla is a hugger, but only when she gets disciplined. She’s stubborn, but very manipulative. Doesn’t like to listen, but when I correct her for not listening she’ll come up and try to hug me as if I’d just abused her.

Here she is in her typical Hannibal Lecter pose, mentally stabbing me because I’m making her wait to open her Xmas presents. We are all lucky she’s a dog. If she could talk or had thumbs she’d try to take over the world.

Thank you. She’s a great dog. High drive, highly trainable and the smartest dog I’ve ever known by far.

That’s a good point, I could probably rig something up between the two for the ambient heat to direct into the kennels. The outsides of the kennels taper towards each other in the middle and would help facilitate that.

Yes she’s pretty typical haha. My male Dutchie (Ryker) has a totally different personality though. Drive is off the charts and all of that still, but he’s way more sensitive and needy. Layla is demanding, but she’s more like a cat in that she doesn’t need constant attention like Ryker does.

Haha that makes perfect sense as well. Gotta love a dog that will disregard his own safety and surroundings to get what he wants.
