The world calls it a crate. Eleven month old Toto thinks of it as his cave/bed. You’ll notice that the door is open. It’s his bed of choice.
Don’t let that cute, sleepy face fool you. He’s a badass terrier.

 

That's awesome. When crate training is done right the dogs love it. Here's mine wanting to get in it after we only had him a couple weeks. It meant sleep time to him. He doesn't need it anymore, but it definitely saves the house from unwanted destruction while you're away.

 

I still keep our crate setup for our dog. I removed the door and Luke will go lay in there sometimes. It is a safe space for the dog to retreat too if they want.

 

You may need a bigger one soon

 

Lol, we did. That one only worked for a couple months, if that. My mom has a little dog, we just borrowed the small crate to get him used to it. He's 80lbs now and spends the day on the couch or one of the beds.

I’m an idiot but my dog is pretty cool.

 

Got some pictures of the doggies today but I need to edit them first.
Here’s an un-edited picture of Athena, with the weather warming up it’s almost time to get her groomed, but I think we’re gonna wait another 2 weeks or so to make sure we won’t have anymore cold spells.

My boy Barkley is 7 years old today. Shepherd/Chow mix. Doesn't like to swim but goes nuts if I try to go kayaking without him.

 

The birthdays get sweeter and sweeter, as does the pup.

 

Mishka loves her crate, but also loves the outside. We took off to get our taxes done yesterday....and just when I thought we had a solid “trust based” relationship (funny, I know), I get to re-do my tree ring this spring.


Must have been some really tasty mulch down there. I asked her why, but she never answers me.

 

Why ? Because she can.

 

We need to nap daddy.
