My Dutch Shepherd as a pup, then grown up a little (still a pup, and still in the taco!!), and then a pic of the dutch with our Belgian Malinois. They LOVE riding in the Taco (and barking at every single person/dog in their sights)

Lots of great looking pups in this thread!

I have to admit, I wasn't sure we were going to make it with this one but I agree with you completely about the 10 fold return on investment. By your estimation (& others) I have two and half more years of crazy ahead of me. She is incredible smart, which I think sometimes works against us. She understands sit, stay, come, down, off, up, no, drop it, leave it, front, mat, crate, fetch, catch, bone, ball, stick, treat, take a ride, go for a walk, go to the beach, boat, truck, and much more. She also knows the names of the people she see regularly and watches TV like a person (she misses Golf ..& so do I). With all of this knowledge, I know she knows when she's misbehaving but like a teenager, sometimes she just does what she wants.

She was such a cute puppy, she fooled us into taking her home :)

    Yes
The smarter they are the harder they are that being said I have one dog who is too smart for his own good and one who probably has an extra chromosome and is the easiest dog ever. Although he is a major pain in the ass the smarter one is low key my favorite just amazing to me how smart a dog can be sometimes.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I'm sorry, but that look reminds me of ours. Mischief is brewing... Please endure these times, because I trust there are better ahead. Fern was (is) a cute puppy. TOTALLY worth the effort!!! A very tough decision, but definitely one I never will regret.

I think it all depends on where you are. If I were in a city, or had to be anywhere near public transportation, I would wear one at thins point. While walking the dog in the suburbs? nope. In the supermarket? maybe.

And there’s nothing better than cool tile and a fan when we get back from a run. I’ll take a second to brag about Smokey and Athena also, when we get within a few houses of ours headed home on a run I can drop their leashes and tell them to go home and they’ll sprint home and be sitting at the door when I run up.
