    As of this past Friday.

We've had Potts (left) for some time now, he's the one we believe is mixed with a lab.
Snoop (right) is the latest addition-We just rescued him. He's almost 3 and one parent was full GSP and the other was full Wirehaired. He's a little chunky and will require some work but he's definitely a big people pleaser so it shouldn't be too hard to whip him into shape. He's already in way better condition that we found him in considering he was shaking, filthy, and full of at least 140+ ticks. Karan and his wife actually helped us out immensely since she's a veterinarian. They fit us in for a last minute appointment Friday to run some blood work and get him on some flea, tick, and heart worm medicine - as well as a check up to make sure he's healthy. All checked out and now he's tick free and with us.

No problem. I think it's a mid-west thing. Picked it up from my wife who is from rural Minneapolis.

Some things slip by? At 63, my experience is a LOT of things slip by.

You got a rescued dog in that condition? You find him on the streets, or what? I'm confused. Awesome that you took the dog in. We need to get our dogs together to run them. Might be entertaining.

We found him in a back yard out in Tracy, we didn’t actually get him from a rescue group. It was him, a full GSP, and one of the puppies the two of them had (10 months old). The GSP went to someone to use for hunting, we got Snoop, and their puppy is at a foster home with NorCal GSP. Though we did get Potts from a rescue group (NorCal GSP).
Snoop has got some weight to lose and he definitely doesn’t have any sort of physical conditioning but he can move from the little fetch we’ve played on the Iron Horse Trail. We’re hoping to get both of them to Shell Ridge this weekend to burn some energy. We’ve actually seen our fair share of other GSPs there too

They’re really not a fan of me going back to work after 2 weeks off, a few minutes before my alarm Athena got up from the floor and crawled onto the bed to snuggle against me and then Smokey moved so his head was pinning my leg down.
