haha yup she is been with me these past two days and well as soon as she gets home she passes out, shes been awesome so far buuuuut the only thing is her barking when she is alone. any ideas on how to make her not bark while alone??

 

crate training , she will feel safe seems cruel but its there safe place get a training book on her and read it they work wonders and petco does training classes

 

What you're experiencing is separation anxiety. Crate your pup and just walk away. As much as you want to, ignore the barking. It may take a few minutes or a few hours or even days but eventually, it will stop.

Riley barks when he can see me but cannot come over (in the back of the truck when I'm standing outside chatting). If I ignore him, it stops in a few minutes.

 

Ditto on the walking away and ignoring the barking. Leave a radio on when you leave.

idk why alot of people think APBT's are bad/mean dogs? they are amazing dogs people that fight them give them bad names which pisses me off!!

 

I agree that people that fight them are mostly bad, however the breed wouldn't be what it is now with out that past. Not the fighting that goes on now but the Cajun Rules style for yesteryear.
There are plenty of good owners that give this breed a bad name also. Its not only about how you raise them you have to have respect for where they came from and what they are capable of. Just because you don't fight them doesn't mean they won't fight. A well bred APBT should have DA. If you want to avoid that then get a Staffy, they were bred for the show ring as opposed to the [].

Glad to hear and see he works the spring pole. Love the name. You should try a flirt pole if you haven't already.

The flirt pole allows you to make the dog change direction really quickly, works on their coordination, allows them to let their prey drive take over for a bit. I also love it because it gives me a chance to work on their release command. Its a toy my dogs really want but have to give up because I ask.

To build one you will need:
10' of 1/4 nylon rope
5' of 1" PVC
2 large washers

Pass the rope throught he PVC, put the washers on each end of the PVC, Tie a knot on both ends. The washers keep the rope from rubbing the PVC and cutting the rope inside the pipe. Duct tape both ends. You should have 5' of rope left, tie what ever thing they like to the end and get after it. I use one of those rope bones or cow hide.
