If it doesn’t defeat the purpose of airflow underneath the bed, maybe put a blanket on it to help persuade?

It's been 10 days. Doesn't look great but doesn't smell and Louie seems to have mostly forgotten about it. Not sure if I'm comfortable hitting the trails with it yet.

Looks heaps better to be honest but I feel your concerns are founded. I’d want to wait as well.

Just learned from the vet that the new puppy has a small heart murmur and is positive for giardia. The wee man is not taking it well as you can imagine. C0EA1A4E-EBD3-49EA-AAF9-5E6278F2D75E.jpg

We’ve got the meds in hand so now we try to play the “hands off the adorable puppy” game.

Yeah, we have the canine meds for him. Hopefully it sorts out but for now it’ll be tough as he wants to play and be around us.

My Lab has had giardia several times. The right antibiotics will take care of it straight away. Heart murmurs sometimes just disappear on their own.

I know you joke but many years ago I had a pet rabbit that looked remarkably like the picture you posted above. The rabbit was amazing as it was very friendly, following me around the house and even followed me when I went outside. Think of a rabbit exhibiting cat or dog like behavior. It would jump in your lap and lay down, newspaper trained, etc. He was a great pet and unlike any rabbit I have seen before or since. The apartment I lived in was next to a real estate office and one day I had the rabbit outside and it was running around free to go where it wanted but following me everywhere I went. One of the ladies who worked in the real estate office came out and walked over and asked me:

"What kind of a dog is that, it looks just like a rabbit?":anonymous:
