Thankfully mine doesnt do that. But he will whine. Until I tell him that's enough. It's insane how attached he is to me. Like I literally cant go no where without him being next to me. And he has crazy separation anxiety. That's the one thing I cant figure out to control. Hes broke 3 crates already. So when I'm out and about I keep him gated in the kitchen. But he ends up destroying everything. Hes only 5mn old. So hopefully time will help that

Boomer is over 7 years old, 90 lbs, and we have played ball every morning before I head to work and evening when I return since he learned.

I can hear him crying when I walk up to the door. He will give me a few seconds to put my stuff down and head to the back door where he will be jumping up and down until I open it. I am moving too slowly for his taste he will back, run to get between me any anything that is NOT the back door, and on occasion grab my had to pull me toward the door.

The balls are in a bucket on the porch counter. Once I reach in there and pull my hand back, I better get out the door and start throwing!! The clock is ticking and he wants to make sure I know what I am supposed to be doing. I may have forgotten since yesterday.:rofl:

Mine has very bad separation anxiety too. I hate having to leave him to go to work, or anywhere he can’t go with me.

Some unsolicited but friendly and concerned advice: always wear blaze orange when hunting upland game like Quail or Chukar. These birds know you are there, camo does nothing to conceal you from them, only makes for an unsafe hunting situation. I hunt public land and rarely see another Hunter but when I do it is good to be able to spot them at a distance and maneuver around in a safe manner. Camo is helpful when hunting from a stationary spot for Dove, Turkey or Waterfowl, although even then it seems those birds are more reactive to motion that whether you have camo on. Likewise, it is a good idea to have at least a blaze orange collar on dogs in the field. You wouldn’t want some nimrod to mistake your pup for a pig or coyote and ruin your day. Nice looking dogs.

    My previous rottie.

    FB_IMG_1570499745162.jpg
Mitzi would.always get so excited when time came to fire the pit up. She would be right there watching it the whole time.. we lost her to cancer a few years back.

Took a few years. But we have brought a new pup into the home.

Hyper and not yet as well behaved. Freya loves to go camping and is much more protective of the family than our last rottie.

Good to know. Again, nice looking GSPs. I am probably a little overboard on safety at times. My buddy lost an eye in a hunting accident when we were kids,
