Let's See Your Dogs!!

I finally ready to get another Golden Retriever.
Does anyone know a reputable Golden Breeder
within about 4 hours of Pittsburgh?

 

Was skimming the latest posts before I added my pups and ooooh my goooooood mr. blue harness is the most precious little goblin! I adore him

 

New little guy Arthur, the illustrious Aussie Doodle First trip to the woods 4-1/2 months old, he’s gonna be a big boy we think, already almost as big as Lola

 

These are my boys!

This is Cascade, he's a 4 year old English Shepherd. He was a rescue and he's been with me for just over 3 years now. He's come such a long way from the extremely shy, sad boy he was when I first met him. I couldn't look him in eyes the first week! Now he's pretty happy to meet people and let them pet him after a treat.


This goober is Mel, short for Melbourne cause he's an Aussie Shepherd. He's 10 months old now, these photos are from this spring/early summer. He's definitely bigger and floofier now!

Below is the most peaceful Mel and Cascade have ever been in close quarters- knocked out in Moab after a day of exploring.

I completely agree, having her return to heel is the one command I enforce the most. I hate putting my dog on the leash, she’s awful on and awesome off. When l lived in the city we’d typically walk a few miles a night so not many people out and she’d be about 10 strides ahead walking at a good clip. She’d check back every half minute like when we’re bird hunting, and if she gets out to far I whistle and she promptly turns back.

One time we were walking by a house as some lady came out and Lola tuned me out for a few seconds so I gave her a little swat on the backside and she yelped only because she was startled to which I told her to heel and she got back in stride.

This pc bitch with the “I think animals should be respected like humans” philosophy gives me a gruff “Hey!” to which I reply to her “Shut up”

People who think they can use logic and reasoning with a dog like it’s a fucking kid don’t get that a well trained dog gets there by someone being consistent and dedicated and that has kept my dog safe for a long, long time now, and she’s absolutely better for it. Judging from her quality of life in that she’s 12 now and not fat/overfed, bored and starved for attention I think the dog did alright as opposed to how I see a lot of peoples’ dogs behave

Our Boston Penny Lane got a new sister. Everyone meet Abbey Road! She’s a Blue Heeler/Fiest mix.

My wife would steal one of those dogs if she could, she loves a dog with character.

 

The one in blue is the biggest character I’ve ever seen! Has the strangest behaviors…eats his kibble like they are fire ants, walks backwards in circles when he gets stressed out, will only eat his food…no steak, cheese , etc., and he’s generally crazy! But the sweetest of the sweet when he feels like it. In short, if she stole him, she’d likely return him and take the one in red.

 

Haha! My wife is a little weird herself, she’d think those behaviors are all the more endearing

 

I definitely do! I wish I could clone him for sure.

 

Just back from a week @ the beach with the family. Roy found his spot on the deck pretty quickly, and to our surprise he loves the ocean. Spotted the infamous land shark. Went into the Los Padres National Forest for a day of wheeling. Unfortunately due to fire restrictions I hot a locked gate halfway into the trail, and had to turn back.

 

What kind of dogs are they? They look so interesting!
