Ditch the harness they are for pulling. It took 1 session with our dog trainer to stop the pulling on our Rotti and GSP.

Im sure its not just a weim thing but I love the way they smell. Probably notice it because of how much they like to get all up in your business and cuddle? Or maybe its the other way around?

not many options here. A ramp like has been suggested or put you back into it and lift and lower him every time. I know which option I’d make happen. A ramp would be worth its weight in gold to prevent any injuries to the dog joints or your back.

Your third photo there is the perfect representation of my happy place.

    Right?? They smell incredible.

Ya, AND well worth it later in his life when he can't make the jump. Already ordered the ramp with stool.

My last Lab was a digger. He could dig 2 feet down in 30 seconds and we gave up our lawn to him. This bugger is 3 now and over the biting phase but literally ate the legs off the kitchen table. He ate a box of tile grout. He ate the tires off my daughter bicycle and assorted lawn furniture. He still likes a good stick and is a great member of the family but almost didn't make it lol. Damn those sharp baby teeth!

    Ohh Nooooo.....
Thought it was a pretty fitting pic! Every now and then they'd hit the button that made him say "Ohh Nooo" as they were killing him. Cracked me up!
