Let's See Your Dogs!!

Riley grew up at work. Bad day? Walk. Kids? Play. Our office was maybe 20 people and he walked a lot. When I went to work at the dealership, the semi boss offered stink eye. Then she was down in the office when one of our customers was playing with him. Of course, not everyone likes dogs but a dog sure can leave people better off. Even Kimo can make peeps happy at the drive through.

As long as your pups are good dogs, it's a win.

 

That's great mine goes to P/T with me all the time they love her. But I did have to introduce them to her because they put hands on me.

This is why I pay for doggy day care. A tired dog is a happy dog.

 

we have a local place we drop Dex off at if we're gone somewhere for more than a couple hours and can't take him with us, it's a huge help and makes sure he gets some activity in during the day when we can't give it to him. I think they charge something like $25 for 4 hours or $40 for up to 8, very worth it.

I just do 2 days a week (Tuesday and Thursday). That breaks up the week so she's not home alone for more than 1 day in a row.

Up until recently I did the same. I started working from home more often. We slowed down on frequency of daycare at first, but he would start to get more and more wild when he would see other dogs from the energy build (dude gets walked a couple miles a day to no avail). Now we take him to daycare weekly so he can " blow his load" of energy. He was kicked out of a daycare because he was able to pounce over their 5' fence from a stand still......one could argue their fence should be taller.

This is 1 of 2. Im not going to call the other one over because undoubtedly This one is happy just sitting by me on the floor not being molested by the other one.






I spoke too soon. My wife went out with friends.. Now Dog #2 (Bear) has gone to his alternate companion (Me) and displaced Dog #1 (Duke) and is sitting on my foot. As is his way.

We take ours 2 to 3 times a week. Mostly since she is a big dog and want to make sure she stay dog friendly. She comes home and sleeps for hours

 

Daycare can be a positive thing if it’s well managed. The place I’ve taken Kimo and Riley have separate groups and will adjust accordingly. They also try to keep the dogs from over-stimulation by resting them. They also do not have toys (resource guarding).

I also like that they have cameras so you can check in if you want.

What a fun breed of dog. Weinerschnitzel was visiting again this weekend. Dog sitting is perfect while we’re considering when/if/who we want to adopt.
