When the dog's bigger than the lap...

 

My shep is the same way. But he's not much of a lap dog. He's all go he doesn't know how to relax. Besides when it's bed time. My boxer on the other hand is the laziest dog I've ever had. I had a boxer before him completely two different personalities.

 

Schultz is just a momma's boy, he wont cuddle with anyone else but my wife.
Mojo, my Boxer from 20 years ago, was a super sweet chill dog.
I still miss him...

Here is my little one (Oakley) almost 1 yr old, but not yet.

 

We gave Tessa a watermelon.

We bought an inflatable ring from Petco and found she learned how to get around it. So we ordered this from Amazon. It comes with a zip on plastic "fence" that we tried, but she didn't like it at all. This seems to be working. One more week.
