My couple pups. 11 & 12, not sure how much longer we will have the top. He’s slowed down completely. We’ve been spoiling them both.

I thought his coat was shorter too at first, but his DNA kit came back 100% Siberian. Since we've had him I've done a bit of reading on Huskies and most folks are more familiar with the Alaskan Husky (though not an AKC recognized breed) which tend to be a bit smaller with fluffier fur. Tend to see more of them around as pets, at least here. Siberian Huskies have a more coarse, short/thick coat and are a bit larger in general, Dex is nearly 70lbs which is pretty big for a male.

He's been shedding like mad since Spring is around the corner, our house is just in a constant state of shedded hair all over the place lol

 

What Breed?

 

Those appear to be Australian Shepherds.

I did not know that about Siberian Huskies! Learned something new today, yay!

 

There's also long hair/wooly Huskies, those are interesting...I've only seen one in person at the local dog park. They look like small Malamutes with Husky markings

 

Harley (our cat) got a catnip pickle toy he's been obsessed with and Dex just longs for it all day lol

Dozer and I were at the park around 6pm and a yote came out of the woods at us from behind. I didn't have my phone handy but let's just say the yote didn't fair too well...

Today we said “good bye” to my crazy sweet girl Abigail. Fuck Cancer!!! I just wanted her to go on a warm sunny day in her backyard. And that’s what she got. My heart aches. Third pup in a row I’ve had to make the hard decision to let them go. Gonna be awhile before I can say yes to bringing a puppy home.
