:( you know what the vet says, if it's smaller than their elbow don't put it in the ears.

If you're looking for something to try, I'll suggest Zymox Otic. For fungal or bacterial infections. You can get it with or without hydrocortisone. Hydrocortisone can make an itchy ear less so but it also makes the med a little more expensive. I've used it and was happy with how well it works. You basically get the meds in the ear and do that for a week. No need to clean the ears, just put the stuff in.

I am too old and don't have cattle or horses anymore, but I know what you mean. Which helps if only I could do something about the dirt. LOL

The stuff from the vet works too. About the only difference is cost and process.

I've been using that for Gizmo the last 10 days or so. It's helped some, but not sure it's "cured" her. Next step the vet

Yeah. Doesn't work for some things but yeast and fungal infections seem to work best.

Does anyone have experience with their pets using cone alternatives after spay/nueter? I.e. surgical suit, donut?

High energy aussie shepard just got spayed and trying to make her life less miserable.

I bought a donut from Amazon. As long as he was out of his crate, he wore the donut. At night, back to the cone.

That’s not fun! Our lab is allergic to beef, any time he gets anything with a beef product he gets horrible ear infections. We do our best to keep it away from his food and treats and he doesn’t get human food…it seems he finds ways though.

He’s on a special food and it took some time to figure it out, we thought it was a water/moisture issue for the longest time. I feel bad for him, I couldn’t live without eating beef.

We've been feeding one of our dogs Acana her whole life and she's super happy. I'm not positive but if there's beef in this I'd be surprised.
