Here's my Tank really swimming for the 1st time! They all can swim, but Tank is the most athletic of the 3.

    They look so peaceful.

What kind of harnesses do you have? What are the leashes attached to?

    Thanks.

That boy is incredibly athletic lol...yes, he's also a lover and definately mama's boy :D.

Those are nylon step-in style harnesses, we use those for water play. Those specific ones are Cesar Milan brand from Petco and although I don't like Cesar I specifically needed step-in style nylon harnesses and after trying many on those worked the best.
We have leather 'Buddy Belt' harnesses for non-wet outings. http://buddy-belts.com/buddybelts.asp They are $$, but very nice .

The leashes are actually leash couplers from Walmart, we needed something to be able to hook to the harness and tether them into the trucks, those are the perfect length and work great. I have them hooked with d-rings to some piece that comes out of the back wall behind the seats of our trucks, yeah not a good explanation lol, then they are looped over the seat and under the middle head rest...helps so they don't fall onto the floor if I have to stop quick or in an accident, also helps when we open the door to let them out none of them can jump out on their own. Anyway, if you would like more detailed pics of it I could do that for you. ;)

Here is my 110lb Akita named Max, and my 74lb Boxer (brindle)named Zoey. Zoey loves her big brother but max doesnt have the energy to keep up so we got another Boxer (tan) named Bree. These are the most spoiled dogs on the planet. I love them more than anything. Max is 9 and the girls are 2 1/2. Bree is a rescue, she was kept chained to a tree 24/7 and under weight by about 20lbs. She is the most loving/gratefull dog you'll ever meet. Sorry for the long post, I love my kids! :D

Thanks. I do have harnesses for the girls - just looking for something different to hook them into the car. I'm not happy with my current attachment system. I want something that will be able to be unhooked in a hurry if necessary. Wish I had two latch hooks on the back wall - they are higher and should let the girls turn around without getting tangled.

    for harnesses in cars/trucks

Doh..I forgot you have an access cab, so it's probably a bit different back there!
I like the back seat of my boyfriends Chevy, his seats fold flat and make a play pen type area that's perfect for the dogs and the back wall has hooks so we use the same tether system in there...that's our road trip truck and we set it up with a bed, blankets and water bowl lol.
Here's the only pic I have of them in his truck...

They look so uncomfortable back there ;)

The fold flat back seat is one of the things I love about my access cab. Better than the back seat of a car. The girls fit back there just fine - that Zoie doesn't grow to be over 75 - 80 lbs or she'll be a little cramped. Perfect size for Annie, though. Seats stay down with cushy beds (which work in the house/motel, too - no need to take another one for the house). There is one "latch" on the passenger side... going to have to look and see what I can rig up for the drivers side.

so yesterday this dog started fowling mom down the road. so she turned around and came back to the house it followed her. so she had dad watch it so it would not go down the road. and it stayed most the day. but than it went home or something. :/ if it came back we wear going to see if we could find owners and if not we wear prob going to keep it as an out side dog. we have a 10x10 pin we wear going to put up and i would build a dog house. here is a photo. [IMG] i kinda wish it would come back lol.

no tag or collar...who knows how long it's been stray.
Take it to the vet to make sure she isn't micro chipped. Post a flyer with a pic...if no one claims the dog...give it a good home. Be sure to take it to the vet for shots and a check up

I love coming home to our pup wagging her tail as she waits for me to unlock the front door

    *edit*
if the dog comes back. Just noticed that part of your post.
